The team of experts involved in developing the English user interface for the flagship 1C:ERP 2 solution have begun a startup acceleration programme, made possible by the Internet Initiatives Development Fund.
We are pleased to announce that our team has been enrolled on a list of 23 startups, selected from over 700 applicants, to take part in the 11th Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF) business acceleration programme. Within the acceleration programme, which will last for 3 months, our team plans to extend our coverage to new customers and improve the position of the product in the market.
The project presented by our company is UP 2 ERP Today, an advanced version of the flagship ERP system based on 1C: Enterprise 8, which lets small and medium-sized companies move to a digital business management model quickly.
Using modern information technology to their advantage, companies can achieve a new level of customer service, project and task management, funds and goods flow control, human resources management and interaction with government authorities, as well as enriched levels of data analysis.
Our company has developed an additional language pack and localisation settings for our flagship 1C: ERP 2 solution, which facilitates the improvement of key business processes for international companies in a range of industries: manufacturing, transport, distribution and professional services. The enhanced product lets small and medium-sized companies switch over to a digital management model immediately. A growing number of companies from Western Europe and the USA that manage subsidiaries in the CIS already enjoy the benefits of the product.
It should be noted that the solution doesn’t fall short of any functionality in comparison with Western systems, while in terms of flexibility and implementation timelines it actually substantially outweighs its competitors. Moreover, the system ensures 100% financial and fiscal accounting compliance with local legislation for international companies with offices in the CIS, protecting the business from various fines. The solution’s English user interface means that it can also be used far abroad.
Additionally, the low cost of the Russian solution sets our product apart from others, reducing the financial burden of the organisations that use it.
During the acceleration programme we intend to improve all the important aspects of the project’s development: sales, product elaboration, staff training. All this will allow us to expand into new international markets, including Central and Western Europe and the United States, at the end of the programme.
The acceleration programme, founded by IIDF, is an interactive, intensive IT company development course, during which the participants get the opportunity to identify areas of business growth, work on their projects with leading market experts and accelerate product development with additional funding.
The Internet Initiatives Development Fund is a Russian VC fund that provides early-stage tech startups with investment and an acceleration programme. The fund has over 260 startups in its portfolio. According to Dow Jones VentureSource data for 2014-2016, IIDF is one of the most active seed funds in Europe, by the number of deals.
